MAP Testing (Grades 6-8)

During the mornings of January 27, 28, 30, students in Grades 6-8 will be completing MAP testing. MAP, or the Measure of Academic Progress, is a computerized adaptive test which helps teachers, parents, and administrators improve learning for all students. Please do everything you can to be sure your child is on time and present those days. As always, if your child is not feeling well, keep him or her home and we will set up a make-up session. The tests will focus on reading, math, and science. The tests are untimed, but each test session generally takes one hour to complete. If a student needs more time, more time will be provided. The amount of time spent on testing is greatly decreased now by using these computerized tests, and we will be able to access results much sooner to better serve our students.
