Preschool and kindergarten orientation will be held on Thursday, August 22, 6:00-7:00 PM. Parents and students will have the opportunity to see the classroom, meet the teacher, and to visit with classmates.
All new international students are expected to attend the International Student Orientation on Thursday, August 29, at 3:00 pm in the multipurpose room. Details to follow.
Pioneer Valley Christian Academy will be closed on Monday, September 2 for the Labor Day holiday. School will resume Tuesday, September 3, at 7:55 AM.
The Pioneer Valley Christian Academy grade ten class will hold a Krispy Kreme fundraiser beginning Tuesday, September 3, through Friday, September 6. If you would like to place an order, please contact the sophomore class advisers, Karen Sprague and Kevin David (contact information listed below).
The Parent Volunteer Organization will hold its annual mum sale beginning Tuesday, September 3, through Friday, October 4. Order forms will be available on September 3. Mum pick up is scheduled for Monday, October 7, 2:00-4:00 PM. Families may pick up their mums by the PVCA tennis courts. More details to follow.
Join members of the PVCA Board of Directors for prayer the first Saturday of every month. Meetings are held in the front office conference room. Coffee and light refreshments will be served.
The Pioneer Valley Christian Academy junior class will hold a car wash fundraiser on Saturday, September 7, beginning at 8:00 AM. Details to follow.
Pioneer Valley Christian Academy high school students and faculty will gather at Monadnock Christian Ministries in New Hampshire for a three day retreat. Details to follow.
Pioneer Valley Christian Academy administration, faculty, staff, and students in grades preschool through grade twelve will have their portraits taken on September 24. The photos will be used in the PVCA yearbooks. Parents may order prints. Order forms will be sent home with each student.
Students in grades six through twelve are encouraged to attend the See You at the Pole™ event at PVCA. The event begins at 7:20 AM at the flag pole in front of the school. See You at the Pole™, the global day of student prayer, began in 1990 as a grass roots movement with ten students praying at their school. The College Planning Night for senior parents is Thursday, September 26, at 7:00 pm. Please join Mrs. Jefson in the Computer Lab for an overview of the college process and FAFSA information. Remember, FAFSA opens up October 1, 2019!

Mum orders can be picked up by the PVCA tennis courts on Monday, October 7, from 2:00 - 4:00 PM. Extra mums will be available on a first come first served basis.
The grandparents of PVCA students are invited to attend the annual Grandparents' Day event on Friday, October 11, from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM. Doors open at 8:30 AM. Grandparents will meet in the auditorium for light refreshments followed by a visit to their grandchildren's classrooms.
